After having a new baby, it's normal to experience some postpartum blues or 'baby blues' for a couple of weeks. Your body has gone through immense physical changes, and emotional and social changes are a normal part of the process that can be helped by getting enough sleep (naps are great!), eating well, and getting outside often. Being kind to yourself is important in helping you adjust to this new life stage and in coping with your emotions. Your family and friends can be great sources of support and also good alerts to let you know if you don't seem like yourself and might need the help of an experienced care provider to deal with anxiety, depression or more serious mental health concerns.
