Signs and Symptoms

The signs and symptoms include:

✔ Pelvic/back pressure on and off
✔ Contractions less than 10 min apart
✔ Fluid leaking
✔ Vaginal bleeding

If you have these signs, contact your provider or go to the hospital right away.

Hypertension

Gestational Hypertension

High blood pressure after 20 weeks (gestational hypertension) is usually mild but can sometimes lead to preeclampsia, a serious condition. Watch for symptoms like headache, swelling, pain, vision changes, or protein in urine. If these occur, contact your provider or go to the hospital right away.
